Betsy is an elementary school Physical Education/Health and Wellness teacher and athletic coach at Hawai'i Preparatory Academy, located on the Big Island of Hawai'i. She holds a BS in Print Journalism from Emerson College and Master's in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Education from Fresno Pacific University. Her passion for education and coaching drew her to expand her instruction to the adult fitness world. In addition to being a Spinning® Master Instructor, she holds a Group Fitness certification and a Youth Fitness Specialty certification from ACE and is a 200-RYT in yoga. Betsy loves training and motivating, but more importantly, she loves teaching the science and methodology of body movement and exercise. Her goal is to help people improve their body awareness so that their workout experience can be as effective, efficient and fun as possible.
