Fatima Batook is a Saudi citizen born in Singapore to a Tibetan mother and Saudi father. She has over 10 years experience in female fitness in Saudi, pioneering and paving the path for Saudi female instructors. Since she taught her first Spinning® class in 2006, Fatima has been a mentor to many trainers and clients, transforming over 50 Saudi women to become high quality fitness instructors. She is the owner of TIMA®, the first Saudi/Arab brand for fitness and sport apparel in the Middle East established 2012. Fatima opened her first Spinning® fitness studio in Alkhobar in June 2015 and the second branch in Jeddah in July 2017 and now has recently introduced Spinning® for the first time in Bahrain under PYC “Pure Yoga + Cycle” located in Hamala. Previously, she climbed the executive ranks reaching the highest positions for a Saudi female in 2015 as GM for one of the leading food distribution companies across the Middle East; she has left it all to follow her passion in fitness.
Fatima struggled with weight for many years, and after she attended her first Spinning® class in 2000, she found the true connection of the mind and body, and her life has transformed since. She has been determined to share her passion for Spinning® and fitness with the women of her country to use fitness as a tool to liberate them and empower them. Fatima is on a mission to make it a better world for women of her country.
She has been on the Board of the Saudi Businesswomen Executive Council in the eastern province since 2015. The goal of this council is to promote entrepreneurship among young Saudi women as a viable alternative to seeking traditional employment.
