CERTIFICATION RENEWAL
Spinning® Instructor Certification Renewal
Your Spinning® instructor certification is valid for two years, and can be renewed when you’ve earned a minimum of 14 SPIN® Continuing Education Credits (CECs) before your expiration date. To check your status, expiration date, and total CECs earned, login to your SpinU account. If you’re within the renewal period and you have enough CECs, you'll have the option to renew online, and you can even set up a payment method for auto-renew so you'll never miss this important step. Plus, current SPIN Members receive a 50% discount on the certification renewal fee (a savings of 35€).

How to Earn CECs
From live workshops to online learning, Spinning offers a variety of ways to earn SPIN® CECs.
- Complete the Online Recertification Course to earn all 14 SPIN® CECs
- Reach 14 SPIN® CECs in one incredible weekend at the World Spinning® Experience in Miami
- Take a Spinning continuing education workshop and earn up to 6 SPIN® CECs
- Earn up to 5 SPIN® CECs by completing an Online Training Course
- You can also Petition SPIN® CECs for educational courses covering relevant topics such as heart rate training, cycling techniques, biomechanics and exercise science
Online Recertification Course
Every 2 years you must earn at least 14 SPIN® Continuing Education Credits (CECs) to renew your Spinning instructor certification. Our online certification renewal course allows you to earn all the SPIN® CECs you need and get the latest Spinning program updates at the same time. This convenient course includes a home study course with essential topics such as form and technique, class design and music selection, periodization, nutrition, the mind/body connection and more.
